Background
The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center (MD Anderson) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide courier services within the Texas Medical Center (TMC) and the Houston Metropolitan area. The goal of this contract is to ensure reliable and efficient transportation of materials, including medical devices and specimens, to support the operations of MD Anderson.
Work Details
The contractor will provide courier services for dedicated routes as well as on an ad-hoc basis. Specific requirements include:
- Transportation of medical devices and specimens with adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Capability for continuous temperature and humidity monitoring during transport.
- Provision of vehicles with non-porous, wipeable surfaces for safe storage and transportation.
