Install HVAC - Inmate Housing at Hightower Unit

Background
The Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) is seeking proposals for the installation of a new HVAC system connected to emergency power in the Inmate Housing at the Hightower Unit located in Dayton, Texas.

This project aims to enhance the living conditions within the facility by ensuring proper climate control and safety measures.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for installing a complete HVAC system that includes all necessary components and connections to emergency power.

The project is estimated at a budget of $9,993,800.00, which includes costs for materials, labor, and overhead. An itemized breakdown of materials must be provided in an Excel spreadsheet. The contractor must also comply with specifications provided in the solicitation documents, including any requirements for recycled materials.

Period of Performance
The performance period for this contract shall be 455 days, commencing upon the issuance of the Notice to Proceed.

Mobilization must begin within 30 days of receipt of the Notice to Proceed, with work starting within 45 days.

The contract will be performed at the Hightower Unit located in Dayton, Texas.
