Background
The City of Eagle Pass, located in Maverick County, Texas, is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP#2026-002) to solicit qualified firms to provide Information Technology Management Services. The City aims to enhance its IT management and support for city operations, ensuring the reliability and security of its IT systems. Additionally, it seeks to promote public engagement and community awareness through effective media outreach.

Work Details
The selected firm will provide comprehensive IT management and support services, including:

1. **Network and Infrastructure Management**: Maintenance, monitoring, and optimization of City-owned networks, servers, and associated infrastructure.

2. **Help Desk Support**: Timely resolution of IT issues for City staff.

3. **Cybersecurity**: Implementation and management of robust security measures to protect City data and systems.

4. **Hardware and Software Maintenance**: Support for City-owned devices, software, and licensing management.

5. **Strategic IT Planning**: Development of long-term IT strategies aligned with the City’s operational goals.

6. **Disaster Recovery and Backup**: Ensuring data protection and quick recovery in emergencies.

7. **On-Site and Remote Support**: Providing both on-site presence and remote assistance based on City needs.

Period of Performance
The contract will have an initial term of three (3) years with an option to extend for up to two (2) additional years based on performance.

Bidder Requirements
Proposers must have a Cyber Security Insurance Policy, Professional Errors and Omissions Insurance Policy, General Liability Insurance Policy, Workers Compensation Insurance Policy. They should preferably be a Cisco, VMware, or Microsoft Partner, be able to obtain Criminal Justice Information Systems Certification upon selection, and provide onsite assistance.
