Background
The Houston Public Library needs a 12-month subscription to an online database that provides access to legal information for library customers. The City of Houston Public Library aims to solicit the lowest and best responsible bid or price under competitive conditions.

Work Details
The contractor is required to offer a subscription database for library customers to search Federal and State cases and legislation, patent information, company information including corporate mergers/acquisitions, SEC filings, and lawsuits, US and international news. The database should allow customers to download documents and generate citations, have an easy-to-navigate interface, authenticate valid Houston Public Library cardholders, allow unlimited simultaneous Houston Public Library authenticated users both in-house and remote, provide customer support, offer usage statistics accessible by library staff, meet library customer needs, register as a vendor with the City of Houston, and start service on or before August 12, 2024.

Period of Performance
The contract is for a 12-month subscription starting on or before August 12, 2024.

Place of Performance
The services are to be performed at the Houston Public Library located at 500 McKinney St., Houston, TX 77002.
