Background
The City of Azle is seeking sealed bids for the procurement of various process chemicals necessary for its water and wastewater treatment facilities. Work Details
The contract involves the supply of the following process chemicals:

- Aluminum Sulfate Solution (9,000 gallons)
- Ammonium Sulfate Solution (16,000 gallons)
- Calcium Hypochlorite (500 lbs)
- Chlorine (50,000 lbs in 1-ton containers)
- Copper Sulfate Solution (2,090 gallons)
- Ferric Chloride Solution (16,000 gallons)
- Polymer Blend Solutions (16,000 gallons)
- Hydrofluorosilicic Acid (1,200 gallons)
- Potassium Permanganate (3,025 lbs)
- Sodium Hydroxide Solution (24,000 gallons at 25% and 50% strengths)
- Powdered Activated Carbon (6,000 lbs).

Each chemical must conform to relevant AWWA standards and ANSI/NSF certifications. Deliveries must be made within five days of order placement and include required documentation such as Safety Data Sheets and Certificates of Analysis.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective for twelve months from the date of award or notice to proceed. It may be renewed for two additional twelve-month periods at the discretion of the City of Azle.

Place of Performance
The delivery locations include:

- Azle Water Treatment Plant located at 1500 Lakeview Dr., Azle, Texas
- Azle Wastewater Treatment Plant located at 816 Park St., Azle, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide proof of compliance with all federal, state, county, and local laws regarding materials and services. Bidders are encouraged to submit current Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) or Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) status; however, this is not a requirement for bid consideration. Additionally, bidders must complete a Conflict of Interest Questionnaire and provide a Certificate of Interested Parties as required by Texas law.
