Description

IFB Fiber Reinforcement (Fibermesh)
Background
The Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT) is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) for Fiber Reinforcement (Fibermesh) to support their construction projects. The goal of this contract is to procure high-quality fiber reinforcement materials that meet specific performance standards, ensuring the durability and effectiveness of concrete applications.

The preferred manufacturer for this procurement is Sika, with specified product models provided for reference.

Work Details
The contract requires the supply of 39 pallets of Fiber Reinforcement: 1-1/2" SikaFibermesh 300, which consists of 100% virgin homopolymer polypropylene fibrillated fibers. Each pallet must meet the following specifications:
- Single cut length of 1-1/2"
- Melting point of 324°F (162°C)
- Total weight of 22,113 lbs for all pallets combined.

Additionally, bidders must include freight and shipping costs in their proposals. Shipping must cover all applicable tariffs, customs, duties, and fees. If bidding an equivalent product to the specified Sika model, vendors must provide detailed specifications including manufacturer and model number.

Period of Performance
The items must be delivered by August 31, 2025.

Place of Performance
Delivery will be made to the TXDOT Amarillo District Office located at Dalhart, TX 79022.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must certify compliance with Executive Order GA-48 regarding government hardening measures and confirm that they are not listed under certain national defense regulations.
