Background
MHMR Tarrant County is a community center and local mental health authority that has been providing mental health and intellectual and developmental disability services in Tarrant County since 1969. The agency serves over 75,000 individuals annually and is seeking qualified vendors to provide HVAC services under ITB 26-017. The goal of this contract is to ensure the maintenance and repair of HVAC systems across various MHMR facilities.
Work Details
The contractor will provide HVAC-related goods and services on an as-needed basis, including but not limited to:
- Repair
- Parts replacement
- Unit replacement
- Installation of replacement HVAC equipment
- Maintenance inspections (twice a year)
- Modification of existing systems
- Electrical installations and repairs
- Preventative maintenance on existing units
- Knowledge of Building Automation and Control Systems.
The contractor must also maintain a facility-wide equipment log and pull necessary permits as required by local, state, or federal codes.
Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon the award date for one year, with the possibility of extending for four additional one-year periods based on mutual agreement.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various MHMR buildings located across Tarrant County.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have been in business for at least five years providing similar services. They must hold current appropriate licensing and comply with all applicable regulations. Contractors are required to provide proof of cost for materials used in repairs without markup or profit.
