Highline and Electrical Services

Background
Aldine Independent School District (Aldine ISD) is soliciting sealed Requests for Proposals (RFP) for Highline and Electrical Services. The goal of this contract is to evaluate and qualify vendors to provide essential electrical services to the district, ensuring that the facilities are maintained and operational. The previous contract was awarded to Lindsey Electric, indicating a continued need for these services.

Work Details
The services required under this contract include:
- Provision of highline and electrical services, including but not limited to:
- Bucket Truck with Licensed Electrician/Operator
- Service Truck with Licensed Electrician/Operator
- Lift Truck with Digging Unit & Operator
- Service & Maintenance on Light Poles up to 150 Feet
- Additional Lineman/Electrician
- Additional Apprentice Lineman/Electrician
- Estimator services
- 65 Foot Bucket Truck and Pole Truck operations.

The proposal will be evaluated based on hourly rates for various service hours, with no guaranteed minimum or maximum purchase amount. Aggregate purchases may exceed $50,000.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective for one year from August 17, 2022, through August 16, 2023, with options to renew for two additional one-year periods.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations within the Aldine Independent School District in Houston, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must register in the Aldine ISD eBid system to submit proposals. Specific requirements include submitting a complete eBid packet and a W-9 form as part of the bid submission process.
