HHS0016108 PhiX Control v3/ MiSeq Reagent DSHS Lab

Background
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is an agency within the Texas Health and Human Services (HHS) system. The Procurement and Contracting Services (PCS) division of HHSC administers Invitations for Bids (IFBs) for HHS. HHSC PCS is seeking competitive bids to establish contracts for PhiX Control v3/MiSeq Reagent Kit v2 reagents, which are essential for DNA sequencing processes. Both HHS Agencies, HHSC and DSHS, will be entitled to use any contract awarded as a result of this IFB.

Work Details
The contract requires the provision of PhiX Control v3 reagents and MiSeq Reagent Kit v2 reagents. The reagents must have an expiration date greater than six months upon receipt. PhiX serves as a DNA control for the Illumina sequencing platform, compatible with Single and Paired End reads up to 150 base pairs, specifically requiring 10ul of a 10nM template solution.

MiSeq Reagent Kits are pre-filled, ready-to-use cartridges for cluster generation and sequencing on the MiSeq System. Bidders must provide literature if bidding on products other than specified brands or part numbers. Reworked products or unauthorized substitutions are not accepted.

Period of Performance
The anticipated contract start date is May 21, 2025, following the response deadline of May 20, 2025.

Place of Performance
The delivery location will be specified in the purchase order issued by HHSC.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with all requirements outlined in the IFB including submission of a comprehensive response that meets all qualifications and experience necessary to fulfill the contract obligations. While submission of a HUB Subcontracting Plan (HSP) is not required, bidders are encouraged to submit one if subcontracting opportunities exist.
