Background
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is an agency within the Texas Health and Human Services (HHS) system.

The Procurement and Contracting Services (PCS) division of HHSC administers Invitations for Bids (IFBs) for HHS. HHSC PCS is seeking competitive bids to establish contracts for the VC APS ONE Automatic Plate Pourer, which will be utilized by both HHSC and the Department of State Health Services (DSHS).

Work Details
The contract requires the provision of the VC APS ONE Automatic Plate Pourer with the following specifications:

- An integrated plate cooling system
- A minimum 10L agar/560 plate capacity carousel
- Capability to stack plates up to 40 high in each carousel stack
- Connection compatibility with a Linx 8900/8910 ink jet printer for labeling plates
- Interchangeable carousel and shuttle capabilities for both 55-60mm and 90-100mm plates
- Ability to dispense both sizes of plates
- A filling capacity of at least 500 ~20ml plates/hour
- In-line pump priming
- Faulty plate detection
- A touch screen interface with at least 20-program storage capacity
- A USB port
- Ease of cleaning without requiring additional or specialized tools.

Period of Performance
The anticipated contract start date is May 01, 2025. The duration of the contract will be determined based on the delivery schedule outlined in this IFB.

Place of Performance
The products will be delivered to Rusk State Hospital or other specified locations as indicated in the purchase order.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with all requirements outlined in this IFB, including submission of necessary documentation to demonstrate qualifications and experience. Additionally, bidders are encouraged to submit a Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) Subcontracting Plan if subcontracting opportunities are identified.
