Heavy Duty Tag-along Equpment Trailer

Background
The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) is seeking to procure one Heavy Duty Tag-along Equipment Trailer to support its operational needs. The goal of this contract is to acquire a trailer that meets specific specifications outlined in the solicitation, ensuring it is suitable for the department's requirements.

Work Details
The contract involves the delivery of one (1) Heavy Duty Tag-along Equipment Trailer. The trailer must meet the following specifications:

- Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR): Minimum 52,000 lb / Maximum 53,000 lb.
- Axles: Dual
- Length: 25 ft minimum to 29 ft maximum (excluding tongue or beavertail)
- Deck width: Maximum 102 inches
- Construction materials: Oak wood or TPWD approved equivalent for the deck; heavy-duty steel for the frame.
- Must include a self-cleaning beavertail, dual jacks, and a lockable storage compartment.
- Tires: Eight (8) each 235/75 R17.5, 18 ply tires on 17.5 inch wheels.
- Lighting must comply with Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT) standards using LED lights.
- Delivery must occur within sixty (60) calendar days from the date of award, with a final delivery deadline of August 31, 2025.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon issuance and will expire upon final acceptance of the trailer by TPWD, which is expected to occur no later than August 31, 2025.

Place of Performance
The trailer will be delivered to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department at Powderhorn Wildlife Management Area, located at 10769 FM 1289, Port O’Connor, Texas 77982.
