Heavy Duty Mobile Laboratory Casework, Associated Items and Services

Background
The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center Facilities Planning Design and Construction Department (MD Anderson FPDC) is seeking a contractor to provide Heavy Duty Mobile Laboratory Casework, associated items, and services. The goal of this contract is to ensure the professional performance of work related to the installation and maintenance of mobile laboratory casework systems that meet MD Anderson's operational needs.

Work Details
The contractor will provide labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and services as specified in Rider 101 Scope of Work and Rider 102 Price Schedule. Key components include: support structures, table frames, countertops, shelves, mobile cabinets, suspended cabinets, framing channels, electrical distribution strips, and all associated parts and accessories necessary for the complete installation of mobile laboratory casework systems.

Installation must comply with local and national codes. Services include reconfiguration, moving, installation, design consultation, touch-up and refinishing services. The supplier must also provide in-house maintenance training and respond to service requests within 24 business hours.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period determined by project needs; however, regular work hours are defined as Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 9:00 PM CST and Saturday/Sunday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM CST.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at various locations within MD Anderson's facilities in Houston, Texas, including potential campuses in Austin and Bastrop.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must ensure that all products provided are pre-approved by MD Anderson. No product substitutions or changes are allowed without written authorization from the Project Coordinator. Services must be performed by manufacturer-certified personnel unless authorized otherwise. The contractor must also have a plan for surplus product management and timely repair of products.
