ChildCareGroup (CCG) is soliciting proposals for an insuranceagent/broker who will handle the placement and servicing of its InsuranceProgram which includes both its health insurance and benefits. Interested parties should review the RFP packet andsubmit any questions by May 5, 2025 at 5 pm CST to procurement@ccgroup.org. Completedproposal responses are due on or before Monday, May 19, 2025 by 5 pm CST.


Background
ChildCareGroup (CCG) is soliciting proposals for an insurance agent/broker to manage its Insurance Program, which encompasses health insurance and benefits. Established in 1901, CCG's mission is to support families and children through education and training, ensuring access to affordable childcare. The goal of this contract is to enhance CCG's position as a competitive employer while balancing workforce needs with financial sustainability.

Work Details
The selected broker will provide consulting and insurance brokerage services tailored to CCG’s needs. Key deliverables include:

1) Solicitation and Evaluation of Bids: Prepare bid specifications, solicit proposals from specialized insurance markets, evaluate bids based on administration, coverage, claims procedures, customer service, and financial solvency;

2) Evaluate and Recommend Plan Design Structure: Recommend cost-efficient funding methods, innovative products, strategies for employee engagement;

3) Analyze Plan Experience: Review claims experience to maximize benefits;

4) New Benefit Plan Implementation: Assist with communication of new programs;

5) Trusted Advisor Role: Update on benefit trends, provide reports to CCG representatives, manage vendor relationships, advise on regulatory compliance.

Period of Performance
The contract term is one (1) year with four (4) optional one-year renewals.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at ChildCareGroup's administrative offices located at 3000 Pegasus Park Drive, Suite 800, Dallas TX 75247.

Bidder Requirements
Proposers must be licensed brokers with experience advising non-profit organizations. They should demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively with CCG staff and leadership. Additionally, proposers are required to carry a minimum Commercial General Liability insurance of $1,000,000.
