HCMUD No. 71 Mason Lakes Lift Station No. 2 and Forcemain Discharge Manhole Rehabilitation

Background
The Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 71 is issuing this solicitation for the construction of Mason Lakes Lift Station No. 2 and Forcemain Discharge Manhole Rehabilitation.
The project aims to rehabilitate existing facilities to ensure efficient operation and compliance with safety standards in Harris County, Texas.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
- Rehabilitation of the existing Lift Station No. 2 wet well (cleaning, power washing, abrasive blasting, recoating with corrosion-resistant coating)
- Removal and replacement of wet well discharge piping and fittings
- Installation of a fall-through prevention netting system
- Rehabilitation of the valve vault (debris removal, cleaning, reconfiguration of discharge piping)
- Bypass pumping
- Removal and replacement of fence and gate
- Electrical upgrades including conduit and wiring replacements
- Resurfacing the Forcemain Discharge Manhole with a cementitious liner
- Preparation of a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence within seven (7) calendar days after the Notice to Proceed is issued and must be completed within three hundred (300) calendar days.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Mason Lakes Lift Station No. 2 located in Harris County, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must submit a bid bond or cashier's check for at least 2% of the total bid amount. Successful bidders are required to provide performance, payment, and maintenance bonds for 100% of the contract price.
Bidders must also comply with Texas Ethics Commission Form 1295 requirements.
