Description

The City of Baytown is seeking proposals from consultant planning firm(s) to assist the Office of Emergency Management (OEM) in developing a Local Hazard Mitigation Plan (LHMP) and other planning related activities, funded by the Texas General Land Office (GLO) Community Development Block Grant-Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) Local Hazard Mitigation Plans Program (LHMPP).
The work will involve completion of background and technical work regarding hazards, coordination with city staff, conducting public outreach, development of a Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) compliant Local Hazard Mitigation Plan and Community Rating System Floodplain Management Plan within the flood section of the mitigation plan, and presentation of the plan to decision making bodies.
