Background
The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is a top academic medical center, world-renowned for its research, widely respected for its teaching and training, and highly regarded for the quality of clinical care its faculty provides to patients at UT Southwestern University Hospitals & Clinics, and its affiliated hospitals. The contract involves specialized public building construction services including new industrial building and warehouse construction services,
commercial and office building construction services (new construction service as well as renovation and repair service),
hospital construction service,
specialized trade construction and maintenance services (boiler and furnace construction and maintenance services,
plumbing construction services,
HVAC construction and maintenance services including ventilation and duct work construction service),
painting and paper hanging services,
wall covering construction services,
electrical system services,
parking facility construction and equipment installation.
