Glass Maintenance and Repairs at San Angelo SSLC

Background
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is an agency within the Texas Health and Human Services (HHS) system. The Procurement and Contracting Services (PCS) division of HHSC administers Invitations for Bids (IFBs) for HHS. HHSC PCS is seeking competitive bids to establish contract(s) for as-needed window and glass maintenance and repairs at the San Angelo State Supported Living Center (SSLC). Both HHS Agencies, HHSC and DSHS, will be entitled to use any contract awarded as a result of this IFB.

Work Details
The required services include as-needed window and glass maintenance and repairs at the San Angelo SSLC. The Contractor shall provide onsite measurements of glass repairs, installation, and repair services for windows and doors including sliding doors.

Repairs/replacements will cover various types of glass such as:
- Lexan
- Plexiglass
- Diamond wire
- Double pane
- Low E glass
- Tempered glass
- Obscured glass
- Laminated glass
- Float glass
- Insulated glass
- Fire-rated glass.

The Contractor must ensure all work is sealed and leak-free using new gaskets and seals that meet manufacturer requirements. All tools, transportation, equipment, materials, and supplies required to complete the services must be furnished by the Contractor. Emergency repairs related to weather or natural disasters are also included. If windows are not repairable, an estimate for replacement must be sent to the San Angelo SSLC Contract Manager for approval.

Period of Performance
The anticipated contract start date is upon award. Services are to be performed Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. (Central Time), with a requirement to respond to service calls within four hours of request.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the San Angelo State Supported Living Center located at 11640 US Highway 87 North, Carlsbad, Texas 76934.
