Background
The City of Euless, Texas, is seeking bids for the purchase and installation of a standby emergency generator at their Fleet Service Center. The purpose of this contract is to ensure reliable power supply during emergencies, aligning with the city's commitment to maintaining essential services.

Work Details
The contractor will provide and install one Kohler diesel, 3-phase, stationary emergency generator rated at 100 kW / 313 kVA and one 200 amp automatic transfer switch (ATS) at the Fleet Service Center located at 1314 Royal Parkway, Euless, Texas 76040.

The installation includes securely mounting the generator on a concrete pad provided by the city, making all necessary electrical connections to the facility's power supply, and conducting system startup and simulated power loss tests. The generator package specifications include a UL2200 listed generator with features such as a turbocharged diesel engine, electronic governor, and a minimum 215-gallon double wall fuel tank. The ATS must be service entrance rated with open transition capabilities.

Additional options for pricing include an engine block heater, battery charger, anti-condensation heater, and extended warranty options. The vendor must also apply for necessary permits for installation work.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to be completed within a specified timeframe following bid acceptance.
