Generator-Euless Family Life Center

Background
The City of Euless, Texas is seeking bids for the purchase, removal, and installation of a new standby emergency generator at the Euless Family Life Center.
The purpose of this contract is to ensure reliable power supply during emergencies, aligning with the city's mission to provide essential services to its community.

Work Details
The contractor will procure and install one Kohler diesel emergency generator rated between 555-750 kW/kVA, along with one 900 Amp Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) at the Euless Family Life Center located at 300 West Midway Drive, Euless, Texas 76039.
The installation includes removing the existing generator and ATS, securely mounting the new generator on a concrete pad provided by the city, and making all necessary electrical connections.
The contractor will also conduct system startup and perform a simulated power loss test to ensure operational readiness.
Additionally, the contractor must provide a Certificate of Insurance showing a minimum coverage of $1 million for general liability, commercial automotive insurance, and workers' compensation insurance.
The work must comply with all EPA and local regulations.

Period of Performance
The contract period will be determined based on the bid proposal but is expected to commence upon acceptance of the bid and completion within a specified timeframe as outlined in the proposal.
