General Maintenance and repairs for Corpus Christi State Supported Living Center

Background
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking competitive bids to establish contracts for general maintenance and repair services at the Corpus Christi State Supported Living Center. This initiative aims to ensure that necessary repairs and maintenance are conducted efficiently to support the living conditions of individuals at the facility. The contract will be available for use by both HHSC and the Department of State Health Services (DSHS).

Work Details
The contractor will provide general contractor and handyman services, which include but are not limited to:

1. General carpentry/miscellaneous work such as building or installation of cabinets or tabletops, construction and installation of pergolas, gazebos, or benches, window and glass repairs including routine or emergency glass breakage repair/installation, painting (exterior and interior), and turnkey services.

2. General plumbing repairs and/or installation.

3. General concrete repairs and/or installation.

4. General electrical repairs and/or installation.

5. Groundskeeping as needed for projects such as removing or trimming trees or branches, bushes/shrubs, or laying sod.

Period of Performance
The anticipated contract start date is upon contract award. Services will be performed Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Central Time, with emergency services required to be responded to within one hour.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Corpus Christi State Supported Living Center located at 902 Airport Rd, Corpus Christi, Texas.
