Description

Background
The City of Austin, doing business as Austin Energy, is seeking to establish a long-term service agreement with contractors for parts, monitoring, and maintenance services for the 7FA Gas Turbine and D11 Steam Turbine at the Sand Hill Energy Center (SHEC).
The goal of this contract is to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of these critical energy generation assets.

Work Details
The contractor will provide planned, corrective, predictive, and preventative maintenance services along with minor upgrades for the 7FA Gas Turbine and D11 Steam Turbine.
Specific tasks include:
- Hot Gas Path Inspection (HGPI) and Major Inspection (MI) for both turbines.
- Detailed outage schedules for inspections.
- Maintenance services on associated generators.
- Supply of parts including combustion parts, turbine parts, compressor rotor air foils, and compressor stator vanes.
- Provide sample reports of inspections and repairs performed on turbines.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and provide safety records.
- Offer remote monitoring solutions if proposed.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to last for a period of nine years with options for two additional three-year extensions.

Place of Performance
The primary location for performance will be the Sand Hill Energy Center located at 1101 Fallwell Lane, Del Valle, TX 78617.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with the Minority-owned Business Enterprise (MBE) and Women-owned Business Enterprise (WBE) procurement program requirements.
They must also provide a Bid Bond of at least 5% of the total offer amount.
Additionally, bidders are required to submit certifications related to living wage compliance and wage theft ordinances.
