Galena Park High School Package 3B (Academic Wing, Multi-Purpose Facility, and Athletics Complex

Background
Galena Park Independent School District (GPISD) is seeking Competitive Sealed Proposals (CSP 25-605) for the construction of Galena Park High School Package 3B. This package includes an Academic Wing, Multi-Purpose Facility, and Athletics Complex. The total project budget is $110,000,000. The goal of this contract is to enhance educational facilities and provide modern amenities for students and the community.

Work Details
The scope of work includes the construction of a 269,000 square foot Academic Wing, Athletics Complex, and Multi-Purpose Facility. Proposers must submit a Bid Package that includes:
- Bid Bond/Proposal Bond (10%)
- Responses to all proposal sections
- Unit prices
- Contractor information
- Various required attachments such as tax identification forms and conflict of interest questionnaires.

Additionally, proposers must provide OSHA inspection logs for the last three years and a list of at least five similar projects completed in the last five years.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence within ten (10) days from the Notice to Proceed issued by the Owner. Substantial Completion is anticipated by July 15, 2027, with final completion by July 14, 2028.

Place of Performance
The project will be performed at Galena Park High School located at 1000 Keene St., Galena Park, TX 77547.

Bidder Requirements
Proposers must provide evidence of their qualifications through a Qualification Statement (AIA Document A305), including references and project lists. They must comply with Texas residency requirements and submit a Certificate of Residency indicating whether they are a resident or non-resident proposer. Additionally, proposers must not have any felony convictions that have not been disclosed as per Texas law.
