FY26 Request for Proposal/Call for Conference Speakers

Background
The Texas State Auditor's Office (SAO) is seeking speakers for the SAO 2026 Audit Conference. The purpose of this request for proposal/call for conference speakers is to solicit proposals from qualified training providers who can develop and deliver in-person conference sessions designed to support the skills and knowledge of government audit professionals.

Work Details
Interested speakers should propose 60-minute sessions that are audit-related or information technology audit-related, aimed at enhancing the skills and abilities of government audit professionals at all levels. Topics may include, but are not limited to:

- Audit essentials
- Information technology audit
- Leadership/project management
- Fraud
- Data analysis
- Current trends in audit.

Vendors selected must offer conference sessions in-person on July 29 – 30, 2026, at the Commons Conference Center located at 10100 Burnet Road, Building 137, Austin, Texas.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed during the conference dates of July 29 – 30, 2026.

Place of Performance
Commons Conference Center (formerly the J.J. Pickle Conference Center), 10100 Burnet Road, Building 137, Austin, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
All proposals must be submitted on the Texas SAO 2026 Audit Conference Bid Form; bids that do not use this form will not be considered. Proposals must be submitted electronically by January 16, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. (Central Standard Time). The vendor must provide names of key personnel who will render services and cannot make changes without prior written approval from the SAO.
