Background
The City of Laredo is issuing a formal invitation for bids for an annual supply contract to purchase copper and crosslinked polyethylene pipe supplies for the Utilities Department. This contract aims to ensure the availability of necessary materials for the city's utility operations, reflecting the city's commitment to maintaining and improving its infrastructure.

Work Details
The contract involves the procurement of Copper Pipe Type 'K' and Crosslinked Polyethylene (PEXa) Pipe. Specific requirements include:

- Copper Pipe Type 'K':
- 30,000 LF of ¾" Type 'K' 60' coils
- 6,000 LF of 1" Type 'K' 60' coils
- 400 LF of 1½" Type 'K' 20' joint soft
- 600 LF of 2" Type 'K' 20' joint soft

- Crosslinked Polyethylene (PEXa) piping:
- 10,000 LF of ¾" PEXa pipe in 100' coils
- 5,500 LF of 1" PEXa pipe in 100' coils
- 3,500 LF of 1½" PEXa pipe in 100' coils
- 5,000 LF of 2" PEXa pipe in 100' coils

Additionally, various fittings and stiffeners are required including:
- Stiffner Plastic PI3 (500 EA) and PI1 (500 EA)
- Ford fittings for both sizes (250 EA for each size).

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective for one year from the date of execution, with options to extend for three additional one-year periods upon written notice at least sixty days before expiration.

Place of Performance
The products will be delivered to locations specified by the City of Laredo's Utilities Department within Laredo, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with all specifications outlined in the bid documents. They are required to submit a Company Information Questionnaire, Signed Price Schedule, Conflict of Interest Questionnaire, Non-Collusive Affidavit, Discretionary Contract Disclosure, and Certificate of Interested Parties (Form 1295). Additionally, bidders must provide proof that they do not boycott Israel as per Texas Government Code Chapter 2270.
