Fitness Equipment For Gulf Shores Justice Center

Background
The City of Gulf Shores is seeking to purchase fitness equipment for the Gulf Shores Police Department Justice Center. The goal of this contract is to outfit an on-site exercise and fitness facility specifically for the Gulf Shores Police officers and administrative staff. The equipment will be delivered to the new Gulf Shores Justice Center, with placement and any necessary installation occurring within the designated fitness area located on the first floor of the facility.

Work Details
The contract includes the provision of various fitness equipment items, specifically:
- Rogue RF1045-690-SU-PLS4 Functional Trainer Rack - 2 units
- Rogue RF1014-690-S-250-AL Functional Trainer Kit with 250lb Weight Stack - 2 units
- Rogue Lat Bar (Black E-Coat) - 2 units
- Rogue Grip Triangle (Standard Grip) - 2 units
- Various pull-up bars, cable attachments, bumper sets, kettlebells, dumbbells, plyoboxes, and other gym equipment as detailed in the proposal specifications.

The total quantity includes multiple items from brands such as Rogue and D-Ball, ensuring a comprehensive setup for a functional fitness center.

Period of Performance
The delivery of all equipment must occur in July 2026. The vendor is responsible for coordinating delivery with the Capital Projects Manager.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Gulf Shores Justice Center located at 312 Medical Village Blvd., Gulf Shores, AL 36542.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide proof of enrollment in the E-Verify Program as part of compliance with Alabama law. Additionally, they are required to maintain various insurance coverages including Worker’s Compensation Insurance and Comprehensive General Liability Insurance with specified minimum limits. A notarized affidavit regarding employment practices must also be submitted.
