Fire Alarm Sprinkler System Maintenance, Testing, Repair and Inspection - Corpus Christi State Supported Living Center

Background
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is an agency within the Texas Health and Human Services (HHS) system. The Procurement and Contracting Services (PCS) division of HHSC administers Invitations for Bids (IFBs) for HHS. HHSC PCS is seeking competitive bids to establish contracts for the inspection of sprinklers, fire line back flows, fire alarms, repairs, and other life safety services as needed for the Corpus Christi State Supported Living Center.

Both HHS Agencies, HHSC and DSHS, will be entitled to use any contract awarded as a result of this IFB.

Work Details
The contractor will provide inspection services for sprinklers, fire line back flows, fire alarms, repairs, and other life safety services at the Corpus Christi State Supported Living Center located at 902 Airport Rd., Corpus Christi, Texas 78405. The contractor must respond to service calls within two hours during regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time). Emergency services must be provided within one hour of notification.

The contractor is responsible for all labor, tools, transportation, equipment, materials, and supplies necessary to perform the required services. All personnel must comply with applicable state rules and regulations regarding conduct while on duty.

Period of Performance
The anticipated contract start date is upon award. The historical monetary value for similar services from October 24, 2023, through August 31, 2024, is $129,118.
