Facility Scheduling Software Solution

Background
The Houston Independent School District (HISD) is seeking proposals for a Facility Scheduling Software Solution to enhance its operational efficiency. HISD aims to engage with approved vendors who meet specific criteria set forth in this Request for Proposals (RFP). The goal of the contract is to procure a software solution that will facilitate effective scheduling within the district's facilities.

Work Details
The selected vendor will be responsible for providing a comprehensive facility scheduling software solution that meets the needs of HISD. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Development and implementation of a user-friendly interface for scheduling facilities.
- Integration with existing HISD systems and databases.
- Training for HISD staff on how to effectively use the software.
- Ongoing technical support and maintenance services.
- Compliance with all relevant data privacy regulations, particularly concerning student data.

Period of Performance
The contract term is from April 10, 2026, through April 9, 2027, with four automatic annual renewals, not extending beyond April 9, 2031. HISD may also extend the project for an additional term not exceeding sixty days for business continuity purposes if necessary.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various locations within the Houston Independent School District in Houston, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must have approved vendor status with HISD, which requires compliance with HISD's liability insurance requirements and participation in the Minority/Women Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) Program. Vendors must submit all required documentation as part of their proposal.
