The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) is a Carnegie R1 classification institution located in Richardson, Texas. UTD is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to extend and expand its non-credit bootcamp-style education offerings through its Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Department. Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for designing, developing, executing, and updating bootcamp courses in Cybersecurity, Web Development/Coding, AI and Machine Learning, and Data Analytics. Specific responsibilities include:
1) Developing marketing strategies for the bootcamps;
2) Overseeing enrollment and admissions processes;
3) Hiring and training instructional teams;
4) Collecting tuition and disbursing revenue shares to UTD;
5) Issuing certificates of completion jointly with UTD;
6) Offering courses through an online-only format;
7) Providing real-time dashboards to track enrollment and engagement.
Period of Performance
The contract will be effective for five years from the date of award, with the possibility of two additional one-year renewals.
Place of Performance
The services will primarily be performed virtually but may also involve on-campus activities at The University of Texas at Dallas.
Bidder Requirements
Contractors must have experience operating established bootcamps at top-ranked universities in the US. They must hold all relevant certifications to offer proposed bootcamps at UTD. Additionally, contractors are required to comply with insurance requirements including Workers’ Compensation Insurance, Commercial General Liability Insurance, Business Auto Liability Insurance, Professional Liability Insurance, and Cyber Liability Insurance. Contractors must also submit a Historically Underutilized Business Subcontracting Plan.
