Background
The Ysleta Independent School District (YISD) is soliciting proposals for a lithium-ion Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system to support critical network infrastructure. The goal of this contract is to ensure continuity of services during power outages, thereby protecting essential equipment and maintaining network uptime and connectivity in the main office. Work Details

- Capacity: 1500 VA / 1350 W
- Output Voltage: 120V
- Output Receptacles: (8) 5-15R

- Waveform: True Sine Wave
- Battery Type: Lithium-Ion (LiFePO4 Preferred)
- Battery Management: Integrated Battery Management System (BMS)
- Communications: USB port, RS-232 port, SNMP capability (either standard or via optional card)
- Form Factor: 2U
- Warranty: Minimum 5 years on parts, electronics, and batteries
- Network Card: Required. 1 Gbps preferred.
- Extended Battery Module (EBM) Compatibility: The UPS must be compatible with external battery modules for extended runtime. Pricing for one EBM should also be included. The system must provide backup power to the Campus Main Communication closet and main office network equipment.
Period of Performance
The contract period of performance will be from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, with the possibility of three one-year extensions at the discretion of Ysleta ISD.
