Energy Saving Lighting Products

Background
The Local Government Purchasing Cooperative, known as BuyBoard, is a statewide purchasing cooperative that serves various political subdivisions in Texas, including school districts, junior colleges, cities, and counties. The Cooperative aims to facilitate the procurement of products and services for its members efficiently.

This Proposal Invitation seeks sealed proposals for Energy Saving Lighting Products to be procured by Cooperative members, which may include over 1,000 public school districts and numerous municipalities and counties throughout Texas.

Work Details
Vendors are invited to submit proposals for various types of Energy Saving Lighting Products. The proposal should include a discount off catalog or price list for supplies, materials, and equipment related to energy-saving lighting.

Additionally, vendors must provide not-to-exceed pricing for energy audit programs per square foot and hourly labor rates for repair and installation services. The contract will cover products that meet the specifications outlined in the proposal invitation.

Period of Performance
The contract term will commence on April 1, 2026, and conclude on March 31, 2027. There are options for two one-year renewals based on performance and other criteria.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed within the state of Texas as it serves members of the Local Government Purchasing Cooperative.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must comply with specific certifications including Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) certification if applicable. They must also provide a service fee of 2% per Purchase Order generated from any awarded contract.

Vendors are required to submit all necessary compliance forms including but not limited to Felony Conviction Disclosure, Debarment Certification, No Boycott Verification, and EDGAR Vendor Certification.
