Background
The Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) is seeking responses from potential respondents to provide End-User IT Outsourcing Services for its Cooperative Program (COOP) master contracts. This solicitation is a follow-up to DIR-CPO-TMP-442 and aims to assist state agencies, local governments, and other eligible entities in acquiring IT services efficiently.
DIR's mission includes strategic planning and coordination of the State’s IT environment, ensuring that organizations can procure and implement innovative technology securely.
Work Details
The contract encompasses a range of End-User IT Outsourcing Services, including but not limited to:
1. **End-User IT Management Services**: Technical support functions such as help desk support, desktop management, software updates, license management, AI compliance, device provisioning, user training, data backup and recovery.
2. **IT Asset Management (ITAM)**: Lifecycle management of IT assets including inventory tracking and financial management.
3. **Desktop Outsourcing and Management Service**: Comprehensive management of desktop environments including hardware deployment and maintenance.
4. **Integrated IT and Facility Support**: Managing technology changes in workspace setups.
5. **Miscellaneous Services**: Additional services that may include digital workplace productivity tools and security measures.
Period of Performance
The anticipated term for the Master Cooperative Contract is approximately two years with options for two additional one-year renewals at DIR's discretion. The contract may also be extended by up to 90 days with prior notice.
Place of Performance
Services will be provided to DIR Customers across Texas, including state agencies, local governments, educational institutions, and other eligible entities.
Bidder Requirements
Respondents must comply with Texas Government Code Chapter 2161 regarding subcontracting plans. They must also provide a signed Texas Government Code 2161 Form with their response. Additionally, if respondents are not the manufacturers or publishers of the products included in their response, they are required to submit letters of authorization.
