Elm Ridge - Artesia Water Line

Background
The City of Celina is issuing a request for bids for the construction of the Elm Ridge WCID Artesia Water Line project.
The project aims to enhance the water infrastructure within the city, aligning with the agency's mission to provide reliable water services to its residents.
The total estimated budget for this project is approximately $7 million.

Work Details
The construction work involves the installation of approximately 10,600 linear feet of new 18-inch water main along with associated fittings, valves, and appurtenances.
The installation will begin at Winn Ridge Boulevard and extend through the Arrowbrooke and Union Park developments, crossing FM 1385 and paralleling Denton Way to reach the connection point.
Additionally, the project includes constructing a point of delivery site for the Upper Trinity Regional Water District (UTRWD), which will feature a control valve and meter.
It also entails the demolition of an existing UTRWD point of delivery.

Period of Performance
The expected duration for completing this project is 365 calendar days.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed in Celina, Texas, specifically along designated routes including Winn Ridge Boulevard, Arrowbrooke, Union Park developments, FM 1385, and Denton Way.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must register as a vendor with the City’s eProcurement system to participate in this bidding process.
They are required to submit a bid bond amounting to five percent of the total bid value from a reliable Surety Company.
Upon contract award, successful bidders must provide performance, payment, and maintenance bonds each valued at 100 percent of the contract price from an approved Surety Company.
Additionally, bidders must comply with prevailing wage rates adopted by the City of Celina for Collin County.
