Electrification Infrastructure Phase 5 IDIQ

Background
The City of Austin is issuing this solicitation for the Electrification Infrastructure Phase 5 IDIQ project, which aims to enhance the city's electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
The project is part of the City’s commitment to sustainability and improving fleet mobility services.
The goal is to construct and install electric vehicle charging stations across various city sites, thereby supporting the transition to electric vehicles and reducing carbon emissions.

Work Details
The work includes providing all necessary tools, labor, materials, equipment, and miscellaneous items for the complete construction of each work assignment. This consists of:
- Construction and installation of approximately 32 ports (either single or dual port Level 2 and/or Level 3 Electric Vehicle Charging Stations).
- Installation of associated electric lines and appurtenances.
- Restoration of paving and landscape at approximately 8 City of Austin Department sites.
- Striping and signage related to the charging stations.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over an indefinite period as it is an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) service contract, with specific work assignments issued as needed.

Place of Performance
The geographic locations for performance include approximately 8 City of Austin Department sites throughout Austin, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with the City’s Minority-owned and Women-owned Business Enterprise (MBE/WBE) Procurement Program. Specific participation goals include:
- MBE 1.26% (African American)
- WBE 1.36%
- Hispanic 3.27%
- Asian/Native American 0.65%.
Bidders are required to submit an MBE/WBE Compliance Plan along with documentation demonstrating Good Faith Efforts if they do not anticipate meeting these goals.
