Background

Work Details
The project involves the renovation of existing shell space into the following:

- (18) Private offices
- (2) Touchdown areas
- (1) Storage area
- (14) Open office spaces

The renovation will require specialized public building construction services and may include various construction trades such as plumbing, HVAC installation, wall covering, and other related services.

Period of Performance
The contract work is scheduled to commence on November 12, 2025, with a completion deadline set for December 19, 2025.

Place of Performance
The renovation will take place at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center campus.

Bidder Requirements
Contractors must read and understand the General Information & Requirements for this RFP. They are required to acknowledge understanding of project specifications including special conditions dated October 23, 2025; drawings dated October 8, 2025; and IFC specifications dated September 25, 2025. Contractors must also confirm their compliance with safety guidelines and environmental policies.
