Description

ChildCareGroup (CCG) is soliciting proposals from an individualor firms to provide Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation services tosupport early learning professionals in classrooms serving children aged 0 3years. These services are being done as part of an Early Childhood CaregivingTrauma-Informed, Mental Health Consultation Pilot.


Background
ChildCareGroup (CCG) is soliciting proposals from individuals or firms to provide Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation services to support early learning professionals in classrooms serving children aged 0–3 years. This initiative is part of an Early Childhood Caregiving Trauma-Informed, Mental Health Consultation Pilot aimed at enhancing the capacity of early childhood educators to support young children's mental health and emotional development.

Work Details
The selected consultant(s) will provide the following services:
- Two in-person classroom engagements per month per teacher, with documented observations and short-term goals.
- Monthly reflective practice cohort meetings to support the mental health and emotional well-being of teachers.
- One-on-one and group reflective coaching sessions with classroom and site staff.
- Coordination with the Quality Initiatives team to identify and procure classroom support materials.
- Referral services for families and ECE providers to appropriate community resources.
- Support for family engagement, including assistance with parent workshops focused on behavior management and social-emotional development.
- Referral of ECE providers to relevant professional development opportunities.
- Collaboration with CCG’s Inclusion Specialists and Family Navigators to provide referral services through Help Me Grow North Texas.
- Assistance with implementing policies and practices that foster emotionally supportive classroom environments.

Period of Performance
The contract will be for one (1) year with four (4) optional one-year renewal periods.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed in classrooms serving children aged 0–3 years within Dallas and Navarro Counties.

Bidder Requirements
Proposers must demonstrate experience working with children aged 0–3 years, knowledge of trauma-informed care, and experience in relationship-based on-site consultation. Proposers are encouraged to be MBE/WBE/HUB certified.
