Background
The Leander Independent School District (Leander ISD) is seeking qualified vendors to provide FY26 E-Rate Internet Services in accordance with the rules and regulations of the E-Rate program. This initiative is driven by the increased utilization of the Internet by students, staff, and administration, necessitating a robust internet access service.

Work Details
The contractor will implement a fiber optic-based Internet Access service with a physical hand-off capable of supporting 40 Gbps from the service provider’s point of presence to the Leander ISD Information Technology Services Data Center located at 315 S W Dr., Leander, Texas 78641.

The initial committed bandwidth shall be a minimum of 20 Gbps, with the ability for the District to scale service up to a maximum of 40 Gbps during the contract term. The service must be installed and available for use on or about July 1, 2026. The contractor must also provide Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) capable of supporting these speeds natively and ensure that all data circuits are monitored and maintained. Internet Access Usage Reports must be available upon request through a web portal at no additional cost.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on July 1, 2026, and is expected to run through June 30, 2029, with options for three additional one-year renewals.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Leander Independent School District Information Technology Services Data Center located at 315 S W Dr., Leander, Texas 78641.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have a valid Service Provider Identification Number (SPIN) in good standing and comply with all E-Rate program requirements. Additionally, they must provide performance and payment bonds if the total contract price exceeds specified thresholds.
