Background
The Katy Independent School District (Katy ISD) is seeking proposals for the procurement of District Wide Network Electronics. This RFP aims to establish a contract for the purchase of Cisco (or equivalent) enterprise switches, wireless network equipment, and associated licensing and maintenance. The intent is to enhance the existing network infrastructure to support educational needs and improve connectivity across the district.

Proposals must include maintenance options for one, three, and five years on implemented equipment and systems. All costs must be itemized by part number and quantity, separate from other costs.

Period of Performance
The contract term will commence on April 1, 2026, and will continue until completion of all work with no option to renew.

Place of Performance
The services and products will be delivered to various locations within the Katy Independent School District in Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding public purchasing. Additionally, vendors are required to have an IRS Form W-9 on file with Katy ISD. The awarded vendor must also submit a Certificate of Interested Parties Form 1295 if the contract value exceeds $1 million. Vendors must maintain liability insurance and provide proof when requested.
