Design Build Services-Facility Improvement Program Hvac/Geothermal Improvements

Background
Longview Independent School District (ISD) is seeking qualified contractors to provide design-build services for HVAC and geothermal improvements as part of their Facility Improvement Program. The goal of this contract is to enhance the energy efficiency and functionality of the district's facilities, aligning with their mission to provide a conducive learning environment for students.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the design and construction of HVAC and geothermal systems improvements across various facilities within Longview ISD. This includes but is not limited to: assessing current systems, designing new or upgraded systems, obtaining necessary permits, executing construction work, and ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards.

The project will require collaboration with district representatives throughout all phases of design and construction.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence upon award in May 2026 and will continue until project completion, which is anticipated to be within a specified timeframe that aligns with the school district's operational schedule.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at various locations within the Longview Independent School District in Longview, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate qualifications through previous experience with similar projects. They must provide proof of bonding capacity, liability insurance, and workers' compensation coverage. Additionally, contractors must comply with all local regulations regarding criminal history checks for employees who will have direct contact with students.
