Background
The Texas A&M University System Office of Facilities Planning & Construction (FP&C) is soliciting statements of qualifications for the selection of a Design-Build (DB) firm for the On-campus Student Housing project at Prairie View A&M University. This initiative is part of the Board of Regents' mission to enhance student living conditions and support the university's growth.
Work Details
The project involves constructing a four-level on-campus student housing facility that will provide approximately 950 beds. The housing units will consist of about 74% semi-suite doubles and 26% semi-suite singles, including Resident Assistant suites.
The facility will feature a ground-level lobby with ample seating, community and game rooms, multipurpose rooms, a computer lab, print centers, community kitchens, laundry rooms, and a wellness center.
