Background
The Grapevine-Colleyville Independent School District (GCISD) is seeking proposals for Cyber Insurance and related services to support and secure the District’s ongoing and future requirements.
The RFP is issued in accordance with Texas Education Code §44.031 and applicable local procurement policies.
Work Details
The contract will cover Cyber Liability insurance with a Claims Made form, including an aggregate policy limit of $5,000,000.

- Multimedia Content Liability
- PCI Fines and Assessments (each with limits of $5,000,000).
First Party Coverages include:
- Breach Response

- Cyber Extortion
- Business Interruption and Extra Expense
- Digital Asset Restoration
- Bricking/Computer Replacement (limit of $2,500,000)
- Reputational Harm (limit of $5,000,000)
- eCrime including Fraudulent Instruction and Funds Transfer Fraud (each with a limit of $500,000).
A deductible structure includes an 8-hour waiting period for Time Element claims and 14 days for Reputational Harm claims. The proposal must include insurance quotes in the designated Excel format ('the Marketing Spreadsheet') with any coverage differences highlighted.
Period of Performance
The contract will be effective from February 24, 2026 through February 23, 2027 with the option to renew for four additional one-year periods by mutual consent until February 23, 2031.
