Background
Harris Health is a fully integrated healthcare system that serves all residents of Harris County, Texas. The organization aims to provide high-quality healthcare services and has been recognized as a Patient-Centered Medical Home by the National Committee for Quality Assurance. This Request for Proposals (RFP) seeks qualified vendors to provide move consulting and move services support for various relocation activities within Harris Health facilities, particularly in relation to construction and buildout projects.

Work Details
The selected vendor will be responsible for providing move management services, which include:

- Developing a strategic migration plan for physical moves involving office equipment, minor medical equipment, IT equipment, furniture, and other items.
- Coordinating logistics during the move.
- Conducting facility walk-throughs.
- Creating detailed move schedules.
- Ensuring proper labeling and tracking of items being moved.
- Supervising the moving process.
- Maintaining accurate asset records.

Specific tasks include conducting weekly meetings with Harris Health staff, preparing punch lists post-move, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and providing necessary labor, materials, vehicles, and equipment. The vendor must also ensure that all moves minimize disruption to Harris Health operations.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract is one year with the possibility of six one-year renewal options. The vendor is expected to begin providing services on May 18, 2026.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at various Harris Health facilities located in Houston, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must have provided move services to at least two healthcare systems in the last five years. They must hold an active TXDMV certificate number and ensure that all drivers possess valid TXDMV licenses. Additionally, vendors are encouraged to submit qualifications demonstrating experience in similar projects and compliance with MWBE goals.
