Background
The University of Texas at Tyler and UT Tyler Health Science Center are seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide creative marketing communication services. The mission of UT Tyler is to improve educational and health care outcomes for East Texas and beyond, offering over 90 undergraduate and graduate programs to more than 11,500 students. The university has recently launched a new brand identity and consolidated its website, emphasizing the need for marketing materials that adhere to their brand guidelines and accessibility standards.
Work Details
The selected firm will provide a range of services including: graphic design, writing, photography, videography, web/digital design, media buying, digital marketing management, and execution of print or digital creative work. Specific tasks include:
1. Creative services such as graphic design for collateral and advertising in print/digital media;
2. Copywriting and message development;
3. Commercial photography/videography including editing and post-production;
4. Web development for ad hoc initiatives following WCAG 2.0 AA guidelines;
5. Media research, planning, placement, buying, and reporting;
6. Social media campaign planning;
7. Public/media relations support including press releases;
8. Direct marketing;
9. Data analysis/reporting;
10. Email marketing including design and analytics;
11. Special event support including invitation design and on-ground support;
12. Market research through surveys and focus groups.
Period of Performance
The anticipated term of the agreement is three years from execution with the possibility of two additional one-year renewals.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations as needed by the University of Texas at Tyler and UT Tyler Health Science Center.
Bidder Requirements
Proposers must comply with Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) requirements by submitting a HUB Subcontracting Plan (HSP). Proposals must also demonstrate experience in similar projects, particularly in higher education marketing.
