Cooling Tower Repair for Building C at HQ

Background
The Department of Public Safety of the State of Texas is seeking bids for Cooling Tower Repairs at Headquarters Building C, located at 5805 North Lamar, Austin, TX 78752.
The purpose of this contract is to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of the cooling tower systems essential for the building's operations.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for performing repairs on the cooling towers as specified in the attached Scope of Work (SOW).
This includes all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to complete the repairs in compliance with industry standards.
The contractor must ensure that all work meets the specifications outlined by DPS and adheres to safety regulations.
Additionally, the contractor will be required to develop a transition plan if a new contractor is awarded a subsequent competitive solicitation.

Period of Performance
The contract term commences on the effective date stated in the signing document and expires on August 31, 2025.
DPS reserves the right to extend performance for up to six months if necessary.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Department of Public Safety Headquarters, 5805 N. Lamar Blvd, Austin, TX 78752.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide evidence of financial stability and capability to perform the required services.
A performance bond is required for contracts exceeding $100,000 and a payment bond for contracts over $25,000.
Bidders must also submit completed forms including W-9 and Application for Texas Identification Number (AP-152).
Additionally, bidders must comply with prevailing wage rates as specified by Texas law.
