Bidders must submit a Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid amount payable to the City of Garland.
Additionally, bidders must comply with bonding requirements as per Texas Local Government Code ยง2253.021: Payment Bonds are required for contracts exceeding $50,000 and Performance Bonds for contracts exceeding $100,000.
A Maintenance Bond will also be required for two years post-acceptance of work.
