Compressor, Cyclone Separator, Dryer Systems for Hypersonic Wind Tunnel REBID

Background
The Texas A&M University System is issuing this Invitation to Bid for the procurement of Compressor, Cyclone Separator, and Dryer Systems for a new Hypersonic Wind Tunnel Facility. This solicitation is a rebid of previous solicitations 28-EQUI-ITB-1567 and 1580. The facility is currently under construction, and the goal of this contract is to provide essential equipment for its operation.

Work Details
The contract requires the delivery and installation of 3 to 5 compressor/dryer systems. Each system must include a 4-stage, water-cooled, oil-lubricated compressor with the following specifications:
- Direct drive
- 460/3/60 Hz
- 75 kW electric motor
- Working pressure of 2500 PSIG
- Capacity greater than 50 SCFM per compressor.

Additionally, each compressor must be paired with a dryer system that includes a cyclone separator, desiccant dryer, and filters to achieve Air Quality ISO8573-1 Class 2. Vendors are responsible for including oil and installation in their bids. Forklift access will be available at the site; however, vendors must provide their own forklift. A water chiller is not required as chilled water will be supplied by the building infrastructure.

Period of Performance
Delivery and installation of the systems are required by the first week of November 2025.

Place of Performance
The products will be delivered to College Station, TX.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must certify compliance with Executive Order GA-48 regarding foreign adversaries and must not be listed under specific sections of the National Defense Authorization Act. Bidders are also required to provide descriptive literature if bidding equivalent items to those specified in the invitation. All items must come with a warranty against defects for at least twelve months post-delivery.
