Commissioning Services Firms for Public Works Projects

Background
Central Health, the Travis County Healthcare District, is a hospital district established under Texas law to provide medical care to low-income residents. Its mission is to enhance community health, particularly for the uninsured and underinsured.

The organization is expanding its operations and aims to create a Pre-Qualified List of vendors for commissioning services needed for small to mid-sized public works projects across its existing and planned properties in Travis County, Austin, Texas.

Work Details
The selected firms will provide commissioning services that include the development of a detailed Design, Construction, and Turnover Commissioning Plan. This plan must outline the responsibilities of each team member involved in the project and their relationship with Central Health.

Respondents must demonstrate knowledge of LEED & AEGB commissioning standards, MEP guidelines, lighting control systems, facility optimization, and compliance with local codes. The projects are expected to focus on renovation and adaptive reuse with challenging timelines.

Period of Performance
The eligibility duration for firms on the Pre-Qualified List is thirty-six (36) months from the date of its formation.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various locations throughout Travis County, Austin, Texas.
