Commercial Painting Services

Background
Texas Tech University (TTU) is seeking Proposer(s) to provide labor, materials, and expertise necessary for interior and exterior painting services on the main campus and any/all satellite or off-site locations.
The goal of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to establish mutually beneficial relationships with one or more Proposers that deliver value to TTU while ensuring prompt and professional responses to TTU's service needs.

Work Details
The Proposer(s) will provide a range of services including:
1. Interior and Exterior Painting
2. Removal of old paint
3. Surface Preparation (power washing, priming, sanding, etc.)
4. Protection of adjacent surfaces and furniture
5. Services on various surfaces including drywall, stucco, brick, etc.
6. Touch-ups on interior/exterior walls, doors, trim, etc.
Projects can vary from small touch-ups to larger-scale jobs requiring creative design elements.
Services will be coordinated with TTU's Operations Division and must include a detailed pricing schedule for labor and materials.

Period of Performance
The contract is anticipated to begin upon execution and will last for four years with the possibility of up to four one-year renewals unless terminated earlier.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at Texas Tech University's main campus as well as any satellite or off-site locations.

Bidder Requirements
Proposers must have a minimum of three years of experience in commercial painting services and must comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws including OSHA standards.
Proposers are required to submit a HUB Subcontracting Plan if the contract exceeds $100,000 and must provide proof of all necessary licenses.
Additionally, criminal background checks are required for employees performing work on the TTU campus.
