Commercial Dishwasher Machine Lease Services Austin State Supported Living Center (ASSLC)

Background
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking competitive bids to establish contracts for commercial dishwasher machine leasing and preventive maintenance services at the Austin State Supported Living Center (ASSLC). This initiative aims to support the operational needs of the facility by ensuring reliable dishwashing services, which are critical for maintaining hygiene standards in food service operations. Both HHSC and the Department of State Health Services (DSHS) will have access to any contracts awarded as a result of this Invitation for Bids (IFB).

Work Details
The contractor will provide monthly leasing, preventive maintenance, and as-needed repair services for Auto-Chlor Commercial Dishwashers or equivalent models. Specific requirements include:

1. Monthly preventive maintenance on all machines according to manufacturer's specifications, with all repairs, parts, and labor included at no additional cost.
2. Availability for as-needed repair services 24/7 at no additional cost.
3. Provision of detainers at no additional cost.
4. Required machines include:
- 3 units of Auto-Chlor AC44 Conveyor Dish Machine (or equal)
- 4 units of Auto-Chlor HT25 High Temp Dish Machine (or equal)
- 3 units of Auto-Chlor U34 Undercounter Dish Machine (or equal).
5. The contractor must respond to service calls within one hour during business hours and provide emergency services as needed.

Period of Performance
The anticipated contract start date is contingent upon the award date, with responses due by July 16, 2025. The contract will be effective for a specified term with options for renewal.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Austin State Supported Living Center located at 4301 N Lamar Blvd, Austin, TX 78751.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate relevant experience in providing similar services for a minimum of five years. Personnel assigned must have at least two years of relevant experience. All personnel must undergo background checks prior to starting work on-site. Bidders are encouraged to submit a HUB Subcontracting Plan if subcontracting opportunities are identified.
