Citywide Painting Services

Background
The City of Austin is seeking qualified contractors to provide citywide painting services.
This solicitation aims to enhance the aesthetic and functional quality of city properties through professional painting services, aligning with the city's mission to maintain and improve public spaces.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing comprehensive painting services, which include:
- Surface preparation for various materials such as sheetrock, metal, steel, aluminum, and vinyl.
- Application of interior and exterior finishes including gloss, matte, and semi-gloss.
- The contractor must demonstrate capability in servicing multiple city departments and provide a detailed work plan that outlines their approach to fulfilling the scope of work.
- The proposal must include information on customer service operations, workforce size, flexibility in project timelines, reporting mechanisms post-project completion, environmental policies, safety programs during projects, and qualifications of assigned personnel.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon execution and will continue until all obligations are fulfilled.
The initial term may be extended at the City’s discretion.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations throughout the City of Austin as designated by the City.

Bidder Requirements
Offerors must comply with the City's Living Wage Program.
There are no specific MBE-WBE goals for this contract; however, if subcontractors are used, prior approval from the City is required.
Offerors must also certify compliance with wage theft regulations.
