City of Humble - FY 2026 Roadway Striping Project

Background
The City of Humble is issuing a solicitation for the FY 2026 Roadway Striping Project, which aims to enhance the roadway markings on Townsen Boulevard from West of US 59 to FM 1960 and Townsen Boulevard East of US 50 to FM 1960.

This project is part of the city's ongoing efforts to maintain and improve transportation infrastructure, ensuring safety and clarity for drivers.

Work Details
The project involves re-striping existing roadways, which includes:
1. Reflectorized Pavement Markings Type (White) (4") (Solid and Broken) - 10,848 LF
2. Reflectorized Pavement Markings Type (Yellow) (4") (Solid) - 1,320 LF
3. Reflectorized Pavement Markings Type (White) (8") (Solid) - 4,082 LF
4. Reflectorized Pavement Markings Type (White) (12") (Solid) - 1,042 LF
5. Reflectorized Pavement Markings Type (White) (24") (Solid) - 610 LF
6. Reflectorized Pavement Markings Type (Yellow) (24") (Solid) - 220 LF
7. Reflectorized Pavement Markings Type (White) (ARROW) - 36 EA
8. Reflectorized Pavement Markings Type (White) (WORD 'ONLY') - 34 EA
9. Reflectorized Curb Paint Type II (Yellow) - 4,930 LF
10. Reflectorized Pavement Marker (All Types) - 548 EA
11. Eliminate Existing Pavement Markings of various sizes totaling approximately 12,168 LF.

The contractor will be responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete the project as specified.

Period of Performance
The construction work is expected to commence within ten days after receiving a written Notice to Proceed and must be completed within 30 calendar days from that date.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed on Townsen Boulevard in Humble, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must submit a bid security in the amount of five percent of the total bid amount along with their proposal.
They are also required to provide a financial statement, a list of subcontractors for major portions of work, and a statement of qualifications detailing relevant experience and resources available for the project.
